Made to sit between a base-layer and outer trouser, the Merlin ThermaVolt Heated Midlayer Trouser available at Into Gear is a thinner, lighter alternative to other heated products. As a mid-layer, the ThermaVolt features micro carbon fibre heated panels within the seat, thighs, and lower legs to ensure riders get heat where it's needed most. Ideal for colder rides, this midlayer provides warmth and comfort without the bulk. Plug straight into a 12v bike battery using the connecting cable which is supplied with the trouser, or alternatively power up using the high capacity 6,000mAh battery pack which can be purchased separately. The ThermaVolt trouser features three heat settings which are all controlled by the Merlin power unit.  Also, riders can connect the trouser to the ThermaVolt matching midlayer jacket using a Y connector cable.
