O/X-Ring Chainspray is a special chain lubricant with the dual straw dispenser allowing a wide spray or concentrated jet. Its special formulation gives the product very effective resistance to high temperatures. And its penetrative and moisture-repellent properties make this chain spray particularly suitable for lubricating all rotating and difficult to reach lubrication points. O/X-Ring Chainspray has been developed for ordinary and O-/X-/Z-Ring chains.
If you can, lube your chain after a ride NOT before. This is when the chain is warm and will allow the lube to penetrate the links. Shake the tin well and spray a thin even coat every 300-600 miles, and allow it to dry. This will help prevent the lube from 'flinging' all over your back wheel. Check the chain tension as recommended in your owners manual. 
For best results clean your chain before you lube - or at least every 750-1000 miles - using proper chain cleaner. These have been designed specifically NOT to damage the chain, links, rubbers, etc while still removing the oily dirt that builds up. This is the 'grinding paste' that if left, can ruin your chain.
