This is a pro laminate, highly technical enduro and adventure jacket combining premium materials, features and layering technology. A 2L C0 DWR (durable water repellency) laminate with 15/12k waterproofing and breathability rating outer shell has been reinforced with Superfabric®’s ceramic overlays. Inside is a 2.5 litre hydration pocket with tube attachment point to take the Merlin hydration bladder. Waterproof YKK® direct to skin opening ventilation panels are found to increase airflow for active and hot rides, with additional features including antibacterial treated liners and a host of adjusters, pockets and details that elevate the Akashi jacket above all other Merlin Explorer garments.
